Angioedema / hives are itchy, pink or red puffy spots on the skin that can vary in size and move or change shape within 24 hours.
Common causes include infections, medicines, foods, stress, and sunlight. Often, the specific cause is unknown.
Diagnosed through a physical examination. Treatments include oral medications.
Seek immediate medical attention if there is swelling or tingling of the mouth, tongue, or throat. In case there is trouble breathing, visit a hospital immediately.
